"My Dad: His Remarkable Life," a  documentary feature movie about Emile Kuri had it's world premiere in Beirut, Lebanon September 24, 2023.  The premiere was a scheduled screening in theater B at Station Beirut where the entire Lebanese Independent Film Festival was held.

Produced, directed and edited by John Kuri, the film won its category at the 2023 edition of the Lebanese Independent Film Festival.

Emile Kuri is the first movie talent of Lebanese ancestry, as well the first talent born in Mexico to win an Oscar®. 

140 film titles, 8 Oscar nominations, 2 wins.  He won the Emmy® for his design for Disney's "Wonderful World of Color," 1963.

He was awarded Art Craftsman on the Century by the Syrian / Lebanese Society of America, 

A Disney key designer for Disneyland - his name on a Main Street storefront, 

and was awarded the Golden Chair by the Los Angeles Home Furnishings Mart for "Parent Trap."

IMDb qualified San Francisco Arthouse Short Festival showcases to a diverse audience. 

    A hybrid structure: Professional screeners evaluate each film during each season. 

The highest-scored films are reviewed by judges who decide the best of each season. 

    Selected films will offer the online screening option.
